When I retired after 30 years with Noridian, I was looking forward to the opportunity
to spend more time in non-work related pursuits. After a couple years and a few
major family events and trips, the non-work related time was becoming a bit extensive.
I welcomed the opportunity to become a volunteer with the Impact Institute.
In response to numerous requests from their nonprofit Institute participants, Impact became involved in a research and development program directed at volunteer management. Volunteers are human resources, and my career background with these and other business processes matched very well with our initiative. My involvement with the Impact Institute ranks as one of the high points of my life. I would strongly recommend to anyone who has the desire to become involved with volunteer opportunities to actively pursue making a difference. You’ll be amazed not only at what you can give back. But more importantly, at what you will get back. Jim Manly, Volunteer Impact Institute Volunteerism Initiatives Organizational Testimonials
As a local nonprofit, we are continually looking for ways to operate more efficiently.
Using volunteers offers a valuable way for us to increase our capacity to serve.
Our volunteers have made a tremendous impact on our charitable organizations. We have utilized their expertise to develop additional services to help nonprofits improve their capacity to positively impact communities across North Dakota and western Minnesota. Our volunteers possess many unique skills and we are extremely fortunate to have the talent they bring to us and the people we serve. We look forward to having more volunteers on our team in the future. Pat Traynor, Executive Director Impact Foundation Achievements Unlimited Foundation |
